Turn the reference into a reviewable brief
Start with the closest category, reference images, estimated quantity, intended use and known brand requirements. Separate final decisions from preferences so the supplier can identify what needs to be tested in sampling.
A feasibility review can then connect material, structure, decoration, fit and packaging rather than treating them as isolated requests.
Review the sample as a complete product
Check crown shape, brim, fit, material hand feel, colors, logo placement, labels and packing together. Record specific changes against the brief instead of relying on general feedback such as “make it better.”
Typical sample planning for selected projects is 5–7 working days, but the actual schedule depends on the style, material availability and requested details. Confirm the relevant timing for the actual project.
Approve specifications before bulk planning
Once the sample direction is approved, confirm the final materials, artwork, colorway, measurements, labels and packing instructions. This gives manufacturing and inspection a shared reference.
Typical bulk planning on relevant HJ CAPS product information is 25–35 days after specifications and approvals are confirmed. This is a planning reference rather than a delivery guarantee.
